A Passion for Preservation: Björn Persson's Photographic Crusade

Björn Persson has taken his fight to save Africa's endangered animals to a whole new level. With fantastic photography, experience, and knowledge, he has managed to draw attention and alerted mankind’s will to act, with great success both in Sweden and internationally. Björn was born and raised in Helsingborg but is now established in Stockholm. His passion for wild animals was discovered when he was trained and worked with nurturing wild animals for a period, that had been subjected to poaching in South Africa. When he had worked for a few years as a creator in the advertising industry, he decided to invest his time entirely in acting for the benefit of working on saving and preserving the world's wild animals.

More about Björn Persson

Celebrating Wildlife Through Art

Several of Björn Persson's photographs have been published and won prestigious awards in international competitions, and his work can be seen in galleries all over the world. Although, above all, his work has raised money that contributes to an extremely important and good cause: for "The real owners of the planet", the wild animals. Which is also the title of his photo book that was published as a limited edition last year. With his art, he wants to inspire people to feel the desire to get involved and to want to act. Instead of portraying the misery that is constantly taking place around the world where wild animals are eliminated by humans, Björn Persson has chosen to pay tribute to these amazing animals and portray them in their essence. Stunning, beautiful, and completely invincible. He would rather call himself an art photographer than a nature photographer. And we can really stand behind that.
