Life Through the Camera: Bob Gruen's Love Letter to Music and Culture

Bob Gruen has taken some of the most famous early seventies of John Lennon in New York, published in many books over the years, but he is equally famous for his punk and new wave images.

"When I grew up, most of my friends were musicians and artists. To photograph was my hobby. I like natural environments and I do not usually instruct them how to act. I like interesting people and of course I love music. I used to drive around the 70's with a bunch of journalists. I really enjoyed going out day and night and looking up pictures, finding places and people. I had a lot of fun during these years "
