Michael Joseph: Mastering the Art of Photography from Battlefield to Fashion Runway

Michael Joseph is a London based photographer best known for his work with Rolling Stones classic album, Beggars Banquet from 1968. Michael Joseph was born in South Africa and after art studies in London he was sent to Vietnam to photograph the war. After that, he was often hired for various advertising and fashion assignments.

"One of the reasons I received the Rolling Stones mission was, among other things, that I was the only photographer in town who could handle and knew where to get to animals and also had access to good supplies. I showed them a photograph I had taken in an office, that picture gave them an idea of how I worked, and Jagger liked my way of thinking about the picture.
