Christer “Fjellis” Fjellman
Christer “fjellis” Fjellman is a Stockholm-based photographer, graphic designer and creative force within the field of photography. He started out in the late 60s, at the legendary Christer Strömholm school of photography. After a few years as a top photographer in fashion and advertising, he went back to school, to the Beckmans College of Design, and started working as an Art Director.
But the love of photography lived on, and he pursued it as an art collector and purchaser of commercial imagery. So when Fjellis, on April 11, 2008, had a serious stroke and was forced to quit his career, it was photography that brought him back to strength and health. His first project was ”Rehab Shadows”, all taken with a simple cellphone. Since then, he has also produced and exhibited: ”Reminiscenser”, ”iMAGiNE” and ”Slussen Mon Amour”, to name a few of his projects.
